According to The Guardian weather reports, this summer has been the wettest for over 35 years, and the gastropod molluscs of the order Stylommatophora have loved it. It is estimated that the slug population has almost doubled. But there is a natural biological control, applied as a drench watered into the soil, called ‘Nemaslug’.
